I went to school with Mike from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Having last names beginning with T and W, we sat by each other seemingly all the time, and we may have caused a bit of trouble for our teachers on certain rare occasions. He was blessed with a joyous and kind spirit, always upbeat with a great smile and ready with a helping hand if you needed it. I loved catching up with him at our reunion last year and seeing that these qualities not only remained but had been enhanced by the deep love he had for his wife and daughters. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Trott family during this most difficult time. Mike, you will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.

Dear Mrs. Trott and family,

We at Morris Park Country Club will greatly miss Mike. He was always there when questions needed answering, as he was extremely knowledgeable about the business he represented. I was so happy that he and his golfing buddies were able to play Morris Park last Autumn. He would loyally come by every other week (sometimes the same week as Tammy), as I called on him when I needed something special, because he would always come through.
He would have a wonderful smile on his face when he spoke of "my wife" and his family and your vacations together. Know that Mike will always be remembered in the lives of the people he touched.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Johnson & Morris Park Country Club (South Bend, IN)

He truly loved his wife, his children, and his family and enjoyed what life had to offer him during his brief time here. We all miss him and pray your hearts heals with time. We love you!

Kelly and family,

We're so sorry for your loss. We're also sadened by the loss that we feel as friends to both Kelly and Mike. This is obviously something that you can't plan for, nor do you want to experience. Our prayers go out to Kelly, kids, and family. I've had the pleasure of knowing Mike for about 2 years and it just seems like Mike always lighted up the moment and left you wanting to spend more time with him. He was a great competitor, a great man, and I'm sure he was a great husband and father. I know that God has bigger plans for Mike and I'm certain we will meet again.

We'll miss you dearly Mike,

Regards,

I spoke with Mike once a week for over seven years. He was my National sales rep. Last New Years Eve I hadn't received my champaigne order for the midnight toast. I called Mike who explained he was on his way home from Indy but would personally pick up the product and deliver it to me via his own car. Sure enough, around 6pm, he came walking in with his big smile carrying the cases I had ordered. This is only one of many, many times Mike went out of his way for me. He leaves behind very big shoes to fill. Geez, Mike, we're all going to miss you and miss hearing about your wife and children and family vacations. Take care until we meet again my friend.

To the Trotts
Mike was a superb guy. He was the life blood of his family and will be dearly missed. He was nothing but a joy at every trip, party and get together. The world will not be the same without him here, but at least Blake will have a dear friend nearby. We are all here for you all, in whatever you need. He will not and can never be forgotten for the wonderful husband, father and friend he was. He saved my butt a few times and for that, I am thankful to have been part of his life
